EON uses SMS to enhance customer service

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd is the first automobile distributor to adopt an alert system for its customers to remind them on service appointments, completion of car service and their next service due date via short message service (SMS).

This service is a cooperation between EON and Mobile Data Technology Enabler (MACROKIOSK) to further enhance EON’s customer service. “With this service, customer representatives of EON can attend to other customer enquiries rather than being tied up with phone calls to remind their customers,” chief executive officer of MACROKIOSK, Kenny Goh said in a statement.
