JAKARTA: Publicly listed telecommunications company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia and Telekom Malaysia Bhd signed on Friday an agreement on an US$8.7mil submarine cable system project.
Under the agreement, a consortium involving Japan's NEC Corp will build the sea cable communications system spanning 160km across the Straits of Malacca, connecting Dumai in Indonesia and Malacca.
