NEW YORK: Janus Capital Group Inc will pay US$100mil in fines and restitution to investors, and has agreed to cut its fees by US$125mil to settle accusations it allowed abusive trading in its mutual funds, securities regulators said on Tuesday.
Janus settled with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the attorneys general offices in New York and Colorado, and the Colorado Securities Division, the Colorado Attorney General's office said in a statement.
