CAHB expected to record another big jump in profit

COMMERCE Asset-Holding Bhd (CAHB) is expected to post another big rise in profit this year after its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Bank Niaga, reported a first-quarter net profit that was triple the figure for the corresponding 2003 quarter. 

“It's above what the market was expecting and it means that Commerce Asset's results will be decent,'' said a banking analyst at a foreign stockbroking house.
