Mahajaya debuts on main board with 40 sen premium

Integrated property developer Mahajaya Bhd, which assumed the listing status of Hotline Furniture Bhd after a restructuring scheme, made its debut on the Bursa Malaysia main board yesterday, opening at RM1.40 with a 40 sen premium over its reference price of RM1. 

The counter reached a day's high of RM1.53 in the first hour of trading, and dropped to a low of RM1.28 before closing at RM1.29 on total volume of 3,815,300 shares.
