Strong showing by unit trust funds


UNIT trust funds in Malaysia demonstrated a strong showing in the first quarter ended March 31 – delivering an average return of 8.12%, on top of the 20.52% returns for the whole of last year. 

According to a recent analysis by Standard & Poor’s Fund Services, equity funds led the way in the past quarter with an average return of 10.46%, while asset allocation funds (which have investments in equity, fixed income and money market securities) returned 8.02% on average.
