  • SCOMI GROUP BHD has agreed to buy two marine vessels for RM27.36mil in cash as part of its plans to venture into marine transportation services to complement its activities in the upstream oil and gas sector.

  • Scope Industries Bhd has signed a conditional agreement to acquire Trans Industry Sdn Bhd from the latter’s shareholders, Lee Hai Liang and Goon Heng Ling, for RM6milvia the issue of 18.18 million Scope shares at 33 sen each, a company statement said. 

    The company posted a net profit of RM328,258 in 2003 and had net tangible assets of RM912,831 at end-2003. – AFX-Asia
