TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) - Taiwan shares ended higher Friday as investors focused on companies' solid earnings outlook for the year, analysts said.
The benchmark index of the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 81.41 points, or 1.2 percent, at 6,818.20, recouping some of Thursday's 2.1 percent decline.
