THROUGHOUT this month, a number of journalists have been making trips to China, most of the time at the invitation of companies with some form of investments or interest in the world's most populous country, which is now experiencing explosive economic growth.
This hive of activity was also apparent during a Malaysia Airlines flight to Shanghai last week. Three passengers on the same flight as this writer all from different companies in Penang were on business trips to either Shanghai or Suzhou, an industrial estate about two hours' drive from Shanghai.
