MasterCard sees increase in spending with SMS contest

MASTERCARD MASTERCARD International expects its “Passport 2 Portugal” SMS contest to boost local cardholders' spending volume by at least 18% year-on-year for the contest duration of March 24 to June 30, vice-president and senior country manager Malaysia and Brunei Jim Cheah said.  

“We expect good response for the contest and are targeting about 10,000 entries,” he said, adding that the company had received over 1,000 entries so far.
