VIENNA: Analysts predicted that oil prices will increase from already uncomfortably high levels, following an Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) decision to cut its output target by 4% starting yesterday.
Opec hopes the cut will prevent a price drop this spring, when the global demand for oil usually slips to a seasonal low.
