The KLSE Composite Index (CI) staged another late rebound yesterday to regain almost 19 points lost earlier the day, closing up 0.33 of a point at 901.85. This was the third day that last minute window-dressing had been observed on the local bourse.

According to analysts, there have been some foreign selling the past two days. “A lot of expectations were built up prior to the elections, and traders who had had positions are now taking profits,'' said Tan Beng Leng, chief operating officer at investment consultancy Surf88.com.
