MANILA, Philippines (AP) - Philippine shares closed mixed Monday, with the absence of market-moving news and lingering political uncertainty guiding the main index southward despite bargain-hunting by investors.
The 30-company Philippine Stock Exchange Index declined 2.77 points, or 0.2 percent, to 1388.15 Monday after losing 2.2 points Friday at 1390.92.
