Record S. Korea credit delinquency
SEOUL: Reinforcing worries about a spiralling credit crisis in South Korea, bank data showed yesterday the number of people unable to repay loans and make credit card payments hit a record high of 3.83 million last month.That means one in 10 South Koreans aged 15 or above is classified as a credit delinquent by the end of February. The number was up 1.5% from a month earlier, the Korea Federation of Banks said in a statement.
