HP and Formis to provide enhanced IT services to IIU

HEWLETT-PACKARD Sales (M) Sdn Bhd (HP) and Formis Network Services Sdn Bhd have been appointed by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIU) to implement Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) for the university to provide enhanced IT services to the IIUM using HP OpenView

The 3 parties signed the RM1.1mil deal, which includes 3 years' maintenance for IIU, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Under the agreement, HP and Formis will implement HP OpenView over 2 months at its main campus in Gombak, Selangor. Implementation of the project, which makes IIU the first university in Malaysia to install ITIL-based IT services management portfolio, started on Feb 15.
