Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) plans to raise production at its Indonesian coal-mining project by a third by 2005 to meet increased demand.
TNB Coal International Ltd would raise its output by 9% to 2.2 million tonnes this year after installing in July a so-called crusher, which breaks mined thermal coal into consistent size for buyers, said Ghani Hasan, president director of the company's Indonesian unit, PT Dasa Eka Jasatama.
