Promising outlook for properties

THE outlook for the property market this year appears promising owing to strong domestic demand and growing foreign interest, especially in high-end residential properties, a property market report said. 

“Feel good factors” such as the current rally on the local bourse, improved gross domestic product for 2003, increasing foreign investments, and the low interest rate regime would fuel the demand for high-end bungalows, condominiums and double-storey terraces in the Klang Valley region, the report said.
