SHARES of Johore Tenggara Oil Palm Bhd (JTOP) and Tradewinds (M) Bhd ended higher yesterday despite a 17-point fall in the KLSE Composite Index, buoyed by news that the two companies have appointed a merchant banker to help them merge their palm oil operations.
The stocks, which were suspended on Tuesday, resumed trade on a positive note yesterday but weak market sentiment capped their rises.
