Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) is confident of breaching the one million mark for its credit cards earlier than the year-end target, citing strong response to its latest credit card campaign and other promotional activities planned for the year.
In conjunction with the December launch of the Maybank American Express Credit Card, the bank held a You've earned it contest and promotional campaign and in less than three months, it had already issued more than 40,000 new credit cards, Maybank said in a statement.
