ERICSSON will continue to focus on emerging markets that offer “big opportunities” for this global telecommunications vendor, which is moving aggressively to grow its market share amid a turnaround in yglobal telecoms markets. 

After a press conference at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes on Wednesday, Ericsson president and CEO Carl-Henric Svanberg said: “It is clear that markets such as India, China and Russia offer big opportunities as operators in these countries reach out to the rural areas. With our Expander Solution, we are able to cover a bigger area.”
