THE benchmark KLSE Composite Index (CI) ended at a new high for the year of 861.72 points yesterday for a total gain of 35 points or 4.3% for the week.
The strong rally was driven in large measure by a “significant funds inflow,” according to a research house report obtained by StarBiz, and firmly established the KL stock market, which put on three points yesterday in its eighth straight day of gains, as the best performer in the region this week.
