Star Publications posts record net profit of RM120mil

STAR Publications (M) Bhd has reported a record net profit of RM120.2mil for the year to Dec 31, 2003, up 56% from RM77.6mil in 2002, and it is declaring a higher second interim dividend of 15 sen per share less tax. 

The full-year result was boosted by a very strong fourth quarter, which saw after-tax profit surge 141% to RM48.9mil from RM20.3mil previously.
