WTO multilateral talk must be revived

MULTILATERAL trade talk under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) should be revived for the international communities to achieve an orderly, equitable and transparent global trading framework.

“Multilateral trade talk is not on track. We have to keep them in focus,” International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) secretary-general, Maria Livanos Cattaui said in a luncheon talk following the launch of ICC Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur yesterday by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz.
