Global Soft aims for 40% share of ERP solutions

GLOBAL Soft (MSC) Bhd aims to capture 30% to 40% of the local off-the-shelf enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions market within the next two years, and 10% of the local off-the-shelf point-of-sale (POS) solutions market by the end of this year, its chief executive officer Koh Kean Mum said.

Its standard off-the-shelf ERP software, targeted at smaller organisations, and its off-the-shelf POS software, targeted at food and beverage outfits, were expected to be launched in the next quarter, Koh told reporters in Kuala Lumpur yesterday after the signing of a strategic partnership agreement appointing the Informatics Group as the exclusive training centre for Global Soft's ERP.
