COLOMBO: The 15 members of the South East Asian Central Bank (Seacen) who participated in the 39th Seacen conference here concurred that the US twin deficits and global current account imbalances are major risks to the world economic recovery.
During the conference held on Feb 12 and 13, the governors discussed measures to address the imbalances in the global economy and noted that the adjustment in the current global imbalances would require concerted efforts of major economies, Bank Negara said in a statement.
