SMTT to invest in Bluetooth products

SMT Technologies Sdn Bhd (SMTT) will invest in a new facility specialising in Bluetooth telecommunications products and a high-end wireless broadband access point device for a US-based multinational corporation, for which it has provided original design manufacturing services. 

Executive director Yeoh Sian Kok told StarBiz: “We are making plans for the plant in view of the forecast that Bluetooth technology is set to make a big impact this year. The technology, popularly used in handphones and headsets, has been improved and is ready for introduction soon in computers.”
