SINGAPORE: Fraser & Neave Ltd (F&N), Singapore's third largest conglomerate, reported yesterday a 19% drop in quarterly profit as a fall in property revenue overwhelmed strong beer sales.
The 120-year-old group forecast better profits for its brewery and publishing businesses this year, but analysts said its property portfolio would remain a drag on earnings because of its large exposure to Singapore’s weak housing market.
