200 to attend derivatives conference


BANK Negara, Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM), the Malaysian Bar Council and International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) - the organisers of the 4th Banking and Financial Law School 2004 Conference on Feb 19 - expect about 200 participants, mainly over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives practitioners in Malaysia, to attend the event. 

The Use and Documentation of OTC Derivatives conference is targeted at bankers, fund managers, practising lawyers specialising in banking, and in-house lawyers of banking, financial institutions, government agencies and regulatory bodies to discuss on legal issues relating to derivative products and effective documentation for derivatives transactions.
