IBM Malaysia expects to strengthen its position as the leader in the local server market with the launch yesterday of its latest blade servers – the enterprise-class eServer BladeCenter HS40 and the eServer xSeries 363, targeted at small- and medium-sized industries.

IBM Malaysia eServer xSeries country manager Ng Hon Chun said the HS40, incorporating Intel's four-way Xeon MP processor, was the most powerful in its class.
