Job report pushes up stocks

NEW YORK: US stocks rallied on Friday after tepid growth in the number of new jobs added in January showed improvement in the economy, but was mild enough to ease fears of an imminent interest-rate hike. 

The job report helped push the Nasdaq to its biggest daily percentage gain since November.
