THE opening of the Jaya Jusco store in Bandar Baru Permas Jaya recently has boosted the importance of this 564ha township, billed as the largest integrated housing development in Johor Baru.
The shopping centre will not only serve the township's 55,000 residents, but also the neighbouring developments in the Pasir Gudang growth corridor. Jusco Permas Jaya is the second outlet in Johor Baru and the 10th nationwide. The first outlet in Taman Universiti was opened in July 2002.
