MAGNUM Corp Bhd's venture into Indonesia might not be a lucrative deal, at least in the near term, said analysts. They said that profits generated from operating sports events that involved lucky draws could be minimal compared with Magnum's current earnings.

According to the Jakarta Post, Metropolitan Magnum Indonesia (MMI), which has been granted the licence to operate the Sports Welfare Game in Indonesia, has projected five billion rupiah per week from the sport events held to raise funds to develop and promote sports and welfare activities in that country.
