CHICAGO: Motorola Inc, the world's second-largest cell phone maker, on Tuesday posted a higher than expected 4th-quarter profit, but sales in the wireless phone unit fell.
Delayed deliveries of new products, offering such popular features as integrated digital cameras and colour screens, hurt Motorola's cell phone sales. Last month, it blamed shortages of parts, especially lenses.
