TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) - Taiwan's shares ended nearly flat Friday, the final session before the Chinese New Year holiday, as losses among technology stocks offset strength in property-related issues, dealers said.
The benchmark index of the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 5.34 points, or 0.09 percent, to 6269.71, but decliners outnumbered gainers 424 to 357 with 180 stocks unchanged.
