US tech giant Hewlett-Packard said Monday it would spend US$1bil more in Singapore over the next five years to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific.
The company made the announcement as it opened its newest factory in the city-state to manufacture its high-end “superdome” servers for the Asia-Pacific market, in a move to decentralise operations from its US headquarters.
