MILAN: Italian prosecutors have widened their fraud investigation into dairy group Parmalat to two Deloitte & Touche auditors and a former Bank of America executive, while Luxembourg added a new dimension with a money-laundering probe.
As the investigations spread on Thursday, Parmalat fired its second set of auditors in 24 hours and accountancy firm Grant Thornton International expelled its Italian unit.
