BUYERS again swarmed the local stock market yesterday, lifting the KLSE Composite Index (CI) by a further 12 points or 1.5% to end the first full trading week of 2004 at a 42-month high of 825.
Local institutional investors, particularly government-linked funds, and some foreign hedge funds were continuing to snap up shares, dealers said.
