THIS gaming counter, which was one of the day's top 10 gainers, added 30 sen to close at RM16.90 with 249,100 shares traded on the smooth transition of power from founder Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong to his son, Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay on Jan 1. Kok Thay has been with Genting for over 20 years and is seen to be a worthy successor to his father as chairman of the group.
