MALAYSIA recorded an impressive 47% increase in trade surplus to RM68.91bil for the 11 months to end-November of last year from RM46.88bil in the same period of 2002, the Department of Statistics reported yesterday.
During the 11-month period, total exports rose 5.5% to RM343.53bil from RM325.5bil in the corresponding period of 2002, while imports declined by 1.4% to RM274.62bil from RM278.62bil.
