KUB signs deal to buy LPG from Thailand


KUB Malaysia Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Summit Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd signed a RM120mil deal yesterday to buy liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Thailand and Singapore as part of its efforts to expand its distribution of LPG for domestic and industrial usage. 

The company, which retails LPG under the brand names Solar Gas and KUBGas and which already has a presence in the Klang Valley, Johor Baru and Penang, plans to expand its geographical reach to include the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia next year.
