Barkath all geared for new businesses


KUMPULAN Barkath Sdn Bhd, which plans to go for a listing on the KLSE main board in the near future, is diversifying into the instant food, health food, and cosmetic product businesses. 

Its group chief executive officer Datuk Barkath Ali Abubacker told StarBiz that the group planned to manufacture and distribute local pastries in the form of instant food such as frozen curry puffs and frozen roti canai through its subsidiary, Eze Foods Sdn Bhd, next year.
