Montblanc diversifies on strong brand name

MANUFACTURER of fine pens, Montblanc International GmbH, has leveraged on the company's strong brand name to diversify its product base to include fine watches, luxury leather goods and belts, jewellery items, eyewear and fragrance to boost revenue. 

President and chief executive officer Norbert A. Platt said Montblanc was famous worldwide for its high-quality and sophisticated writing instruments, especially pens.
