Confarm gets new source of income


CONSIDERED more hygienic and convenient, liquid eggs are about to overtake the conventional shelled eggs to become the dominant contributor to Consolidated Farms Bhd's (Confarm) turnover for the financial year ending Jan 31, 2005. 

The integrated poultry company had received the necessary approvals, including the ISO certification needed to export liquid eggs to several countries including Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, chairman and chief executive officer Heng Keah Yong told StarBiz after the group EGM in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
