Samsung to up market share

SAMSUNG Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd is confident of increasing its share of the local mobile phone market from the current 25% to 28% by the end of the next quarter, said its managing director Kim Jeong-Wook. 

With continuous efforts and commitment to introduce more innovative mobile phones in the near future, Samsung, now at second spot, was also confident of clinching the top spot by 2005, he told reporters at the launch of Samsung SGH-E700A camera phone in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
