Genting notes issue fully subscribed after book-building


Genting Bhd's proposed US$250mil five-year exchangeable notes as well as US$50mil additional notes issues have been fully subscribed following the completion of a book-building exercise on Dec 5, the company said in a statement to the KLSE yesterday. 

The notes, which were offered by virtue of the underlying shares of Genting unit Resorts World Bhd, had attracted a premium of 27% over the latter's closing price of RM10.50 on Friday or put the price of the 50 sen share at RM13.335 per share, based on an exchange rate of RM3.80 to US$1.
