MALAYSIAN exports grew a strong 7.2% in October to RM34.2bil – the highest monthly export value achieved since September 2000 – from RM31.9bil a year ago.
The country's trade surplus of RM62.55bil for the first 10 months of the year was also higher than the full-year trade surplus of RM51.49bil recorded for 2002, the International Trade and Industry Ministry said yesterday.
