SYDNEY: Australias central bank raised interest rates for the second straight month yesterday as data showed the economy accelerating out of a mid-year slowdown.
Economists said Australias series of rate increases, leading an expected global trend towards higher borrowing costs, would probably continue with another rise early next year.
