Khazanah call warrants listing on KLSE tomorrow

NATIONAL investment agency Khazanah Nasional Bhd's 509.25 million call warrants will list on the KLSE tomorrow, according to a KLSE statement.  

The call warrants are exchangeable into shares of listed companies; the warrants converted into existing shares instead of new ones. 

Khazanah's issue comprises call warrants exercisable into 194 million TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD shares, 48.5 million Commerce Asset-Holding Bhd shares, 48.5 million MALAYAN BANKING BHD shares, 145.5 million PLUS Expressway Bhd shares, 48.5 million Maxis Communications Bhd shares and 24.25 million Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd shares. 

The exercise period of the call warrants is four years, from Nov 19, 2003, to Nov 18, 2007. 

The exercise price of the Telekom warrants is RM9.21, Commerce Asset's RM4.59, Malayan Banking's RM10.89, PLUS' RM2.79, Maxis' RM8.11 and Proton's RM8.89. – AFX
