Biztrak Business Solutions Sdn Bhd, formerly known as AccTrack21 Marketing Sdn Bhd, has embarked on a repositioning exercise to mark its entry into the business management solutions from its initial focus on providing only accounting solutions.
Biztrak managing director Ong Chin Yet said the company had been steadily gaining market share in the accounting solutions segment over the past five years and it believed there was huge potential for expansion into the wider business solutions market.
“We currently have 6% market share in the accounting and business management software industry. This vertical diversification provides us with the platform to introduce to the market a fuller suite of business management solutions.
“Looking ahead, our focus would be on product enhancement and business solutions development. This is vital with the increasing emphasis on cutting-edge technology and customisation.
“We are currently one of the leaders in the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) segment, and we intend to provide a fuller suite of business solutions to this market through research and development and market intelligence. With this evolution, Biztrak is on track to experience encouraging growth in Malaysia and the region,” Ong said.
Biztrak first began as the distributor of AccTrack21 Inc's accounting software in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei in 1999. With the recent acquisition of the source/licensing code from AccTrak21, Biztrak began refining its existing products and further developed new products in the business management solutions segment.
Capitalising on its strength, Biztrak is taking a step further to tap the market by developing new software in the areas such as warehouse management, mobile technology, point-of-sales, project management and manufacturing.
