Boeing sends 7E7 work to different parts

SEATTLE: Japanese heavy equipment makers are to join suppliers from Italy along with US, Australian and Canadian Boeing units in building major parts of the Boeing Co's proposed 7E7 jetliner. 

As expected, Boeing said Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd would collaborate to build wing and fuselage parts for the mid-sized 7E7, a complicated and crucial engineering task equalling 35% of the total structure.
